The department of physics at National Institute of Technology Silchar offers a two year M.Sc. program in the field of Applied Physics. This program is designed with equal emphasis on both classroom lectures and laboratory training with modern equipments. The admission to this program is through ‘Joint Admission test for Masters’ (IIT-JAM). The program includes various theoretical and experimental courses including computational physics along with project seminars in the final year of the course.
